So hello! Yes it's been an age and I've been all over the place while not even budging from this ever hardening old chair. Hasn't it been a fine transition from end of Autumn into official Winter? The temp here I noticed was exactly double Melbourne's - they had a 8 to 14C range and we flung off the bedclothes (narrowly avoiding a drowsy cat) and next morning cycled around in shorts again.
Three essays away and only another three to go. All overdue of course, but there's definitely an end in sight! The past folly at those other universities have been collated and sent off for credit transfer and all going to plan, I should be looking at being very close to completion by the end of this year. Yay - study fatigue has been really hitting me of late.
Meanwhile, the planning for the long march northward is firming up. Some interesting blogsters (I'll list them for later reference soonish), a couple of well placed email exchanges and a rather charming chatpal are keeping it simmering. I'm actually looking forward to a lot of stuff, much of it involving major changes to my life, circumstances and all that.
Now I'm cooking rhubarb in prep for a low fat but rather satisfying dessert also involving pancakes, rosewater and smooth ricotta.
